Abraham (Avi) Perry and Kathleen May
Avi and Kathleen met in 2016, when Kathleen came to Israel as a caregiver for Avi’s late grandmother. Over time, a loving relationship developed between the two, which over the years also led to Kathleen’s decision to convert, then to the couple’s marriage in a religious ceremony and finally, to the birth of a son. Throughout this time, however, Kathleen still only possessed a caregiver worker’s visa, which is a much less desirable visa than one given to spouses. After the couple came to us, we began handling the marriage file on their behalf and we were able to get Kathleen an independent status as Avi’s spouse, and she is on her way to obtaining full Israeli citizenship.
Adv. Keren Drori from the Firm handled the case.
