Maxim (an Israeli citizen) and Natalia (a Ukrainian citizen) met over a decade ago, even before Maksim immigrated to Israel, and their bond has only grown stronger since. When the war in Ukraine broke out, Natalia joined Maksim in Israel, and they decided to formalize their relationship. How? Through a civil wedding via Zoom, officiated in the state of Utah, USA. The ceremony took place right from our office, allowing them to begin their journey together without leaving Israel. Now, with their official marriage certificate in hand, we will continue guiding them through the process of securing Natalia’s legal status in Israel. Facing challenges in resolving your legal status? We’re here to help.
The two met from afar in 2017, got married a few years later through a Utah marriage ceremony, and then applied to resolve Duan’s legal status—but their request was denied. At this stage, Attorney Adi Greenfeld from our office stepped in, and after we filed an internal appeal, Duan finally received her Israeli ID card! The wait was worth it, and now the couple can officially begin a new chapter together and proceed with the graduated procedure as a married couple. We wish them a shared future filled with love and joy.
Remember earlier this month when we warned about the ETA approval scam? Unfortunately, it continues to harm foreign nationals. Felix arrived in Israel with an ETA approval issued in the Philippines, but the Population and Immigration Authority determined it was fake and denied his entry into Israel. Not only did he pay ₪650 for it (instead of ₪25 for an original approval), but he was also refused entry and accused of attempting to deceive the state. Now, Felix's family, who has fallen victim to this fraud, must fight to bring him back to Israel!
To start the process, there are two key requirements you need to know and meet. What are these requirements, and how can the right guidance make all the difference on your path to Israeli citizenship?
The journey of Taameh, a refugee from Eritrea, began with the hope of building a new and secure life in Israel. After we successfully obtained his long-awaited refugee status, we worked tirelessly to bring his wife and three children to Israel—and our request was approved. However, tragedy struck when the two younger children attempted to cross into Ethiopia and were detained by Eritrean authorities. Given these complex developments, we requested that his wife and eldest daughter be allowed to come to Israel while the family continues searching for the two missing children. The legal battle, led with dedication by Attorney Michael Cohen-Ad from our office, will persist until Taameh’s family is fully reunited in Israel.
Aya and Avshalom, survivors of the Nova festival, faced a challenging journey but never gave up on their dream of staying in Israel. They arrived in the country six years ago but remained without a visa during this time. Our office submitted a tailored application on their behalf, and within just three months, we secured a one-year work visa for them. For Aya and Avshalom, this is the first step toward a new, stable, and secure future! Special thanks to Attorney Anara Avshalomov, who accompanied them with great dedication and paved the way for this success. Transcript
