Handling a couples case (marital or fiancée) often raises major challenges along the way, that may cause harm to the couple if they are not legally represented. This was true in the case involving Shalom, an Israeli who met and fell in love with Marilyn, who came to Israel from the Philippines to work as a caregiver.

The couple began to spend every free moment together, and Shalom even travelled to the Philippines to meet Marilyn’s family.

The couple contacted us in order to help them settle Marilyn’s visa as Shalom’s fiancee.

However, if the couple is not represented, the Ministry of the Interior almost automatically cancels the spouse’s visa while the case is being examined.

This can lead to many problems down the road.

But once we handled the case – we managed to obtain a tourist visa for Marilyn so that she could remain in Israel legally until the final decision for the couple.
