Vladyslav, an Israeli and Marina, an Ukrainian met on Facebook, connected, fell in love, met, traveled together in Ukraine, and when the war started they reunited, moved in together and even got married following Marina’s arrival in Israel.
Among all these exciting events, Marina’s son, a 13-year-old minor, had to flee the war to his aunt, who lived in Poland. The minor’s father was drafted into the Ukrainian army, and the minor could not stay in Israel until his mother’s legal status was settled.
Adv. Noam Greenzeig from our office, who handled the case, applied on behalf of the couple to the Ministry of the Interior a special request (since the minor has been separated from both of his parents since the beginning of the war) and managed to approve the minor’s entry into Israel even before his mother’s visa was approved.
Last week Marina’s son arrived in Israel, and for the first time since the beginning of the war he was finally reunited with his mother.
